How the series began: “I was unsafe around friends that I should have been safe around… and when I found out how unsafe I was, it turbulence my mentality…”

All my life, I believed I had friends that I could trust. But one day, some of those friends proved me dead wrong. I felt unsafe as if a rug had snatched from underneath my feet. My mind was in a state of turbulence. As I worked through my uneasiness, a strange revelation came to me about an airplane’s Black Box.

I suddenly realized that I needed a Black Box moment as a coping mechanism. I created a Black Box Friendship (BBF), where a special friend of mine allowed me to safely share my most pressing thoughts of what caused turbulence in my mentality. It worked! I was back to my usual self of eating correctly, sleeping well at night, and concentrating on the tasks at hand.

I also began to search for other ways that the airline industry (one of the safest industries out there) can help people who are feeling unsafe and want to recover from their most challenging circumstances. What I discovered was an untapped goldmine that the global community needs. Thus, the creation of The Airport Adventure Book-A-Zine Series.
